What program? Maybe, screensaver? If so, you can easily turn off the password protection in the settings of screensaver.

Do you need matrixlock very much? I think no. Uninstall this program.

zkhoja I am having a similar problem.  Are you using an XP, with your tasks being performed on files on other servers?

As long as the task is using/manipulating files on this computer's hard drive I'm fine, logged on or off.  However, as soon as I switch to a networked file I can only run the tasks if I am logged in, screen saver off, etc.  As soon as I log-off or the workstation locks the only thing that happens is the application opens, but nothing else......Oleg how do we get past this problem?

Wdp01..

I am using XP, but running the task on a local PC. As Oleg explained to me before, when the screen is locked, Windows locks off all keystrokes.  So what I had to do was install a screen locking program.  When the user locks the screen (very simple to lock, there will be an icon in your system tray, just click on it) the screen will then lock.  After locking the screen, you may press ESC or click of the mouse, to be prompted for a password.  Robotask works well with this Screen locking application.  It's free, you should check it out.

But... if you were reading from the top of this thread... Oleg suggests I not use this application, I would rather not, but Oleg has not provided me with another solution......  I haven't tried the task using the screen saver to lock... have you?

zkhoja-

I tried the screensaver program you recommended.  That solved my problem.  Any idea why Oleg suggests not using this program?

I work with patient data and it isn't acceptable to have that on a screen without some sort of security.
