How do I stop a program?
The question is if killing an application is as good as closing it. Does it clean up the memoryspace it has used and so fourth.

Hotkey bloking?
I've noticed that the hotkey trigger disables some keys from the rest of the system like NUM - and NUM + while it does not disable SCROLLOCK for instance.
