this is a simple suggestion, put the hex or decimal name of a task visible in robotask. because to create a shortcut on the desktop just the get the hex or decimal name of a task, is a long and useless method.

ok, so a create a shortcut from RT. then a look a the name in the properties of the shortvut and i take the name in hex. it's a complicated process, but i will have to deal with it. so thanks for your answer.

in a past post, oleg said it is possible to use the command line to execute a task, you simply need to use the name of the task in hex or decimal.
my question is, how do i know the name of the task in hex or decimal?

hi oleg, if i understand, if i create a system environment variable, bob1. and if a program put somthing in the value, then i simply need to tell RT {EnvironmentVar(bob2)} and it will return the value that the programe put in? is that right? well if it is, then it's exatcly what i want. so thanks a ...

that's weird,
because this task just work one time. the second time, it did not work. maybe my windows is to slow. i run robotask on a virtual server. and it's slow.
