Wdp, From what is posted on this thread is only what Oleg and I have discussed regarding this matter........ I hope he can work something out as we are 2 with the similar problem.... I know you can place a password to get out of the Windows Screen Saver... have you tried that yet? The only problem...

Wdp01.. I am using XP, but running the task on a local PC. As Oleg explained to me before, when the screen is locked, Windows locks off all keystrokes. I'm running my task while the PC is locked, I've been testing and the task does not run properly. If I run the task while the PC is not locked, it runs fine. When I lock the PC, it gets as far as opening the app and then nothing from there..... please help...

damn...... lemme tell you my situation...
- we need to run a task (run a feature in an app) on a specific PC of @ 6am in the morning
- the user leaves the PC @ 5pm and returns @ 8a
- the PC is unattended

To successfully complete my task, I would have to turn off Hibernation? How about the screensaver? How about the monitor? Please advise on a method....
