Login Widows from Hibernate
Kdizonline - I have been running a tsk early in the morning each day for several months and haven't had any major problems regarding keyboard commands. I just let it run and then begin the tsk by using the "click left mouse button" command. I then enter in the password with keystrokes, h...

I can always attempt to automate another program using more complicated keystrokes with RoboTask? Can you elaborate on what program you speak of?
(I'm not a programmer so the simpler the better....... )

Batch find/replace text string....
Hello all-
I have a very large folder of .txt files.
In each .txt file there is a text string that I'd like to find and replace, then save the .txt file (can be the same name)
Is there a good way to have robotask do this? The files have many different/non-sequential names.

Email of log file....
Two questions: 1. How difficult is it to have an email sent through WORD to notify a user if a Task has failed to run successfully? 2. Along the same lines, is it possible to import a portion of the log file into a text file? If a complicated task runs every morning, how can one capture just the ...

Click on system tray item.....
Ncubillas-
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the item I'd like to "click" open does not show up in the Applications window of the Task Manager.
I can find the applications .exe but if I attempt to run it only places the item in the system tray but doesn't activate it.

I am trying to automate the click on an item in the system tray (lower right side of screen in Windows). I can use the "move to object" which moves the cursor to the correct position BUT the object I want keeps moving around, depending on what else is open. Is there a way to always &qu...

Login Widows from Hibernate
I agree it doesn't look too professional but I just turn off my monitor on my way out the door anyway...:) I have not tried the Windows Screen Saver yet. In my past XP experience the password is the login/password for the user? And doesn't that "lock" the computer so that RoboTask can't ...

I tried the screensaver program you recommended. That solved my problem. Any idea why Oleg suggests not using this program?
I work with patient data and it isn't acceptable to have that on a screen without some sort of security.
