merge file is adding a character at the end that corrupts XML file

i am building multiple XML files
then i need merge them to ONE file
the merge action works but adds some character to the end that corrupts the xml file and will not process using a sql data import tool
if i manually remove the character, the data will import.

I want to see your task.
you cannot merge XML files by simple merge. You will break the XML structure.
