Local variables in Basic Script

Post by David W. »

Hi,Thanks for the local variables in the latest update!  I wish I had them about 160 tasks ago.  Anyway, I am using a basic script to create a variable with the name that is specified in another variable so to have dynamic variable creation. It appears that RoboTaskApp.ExpandText("{local_variable}") does not work yet.  Is this correct?  Or is there a way to access the local variables via a basic script.Thank you.David

I've just checked this, it's working.
Local variables must work with any actions.

Have you downloaded new version of Basic plugin? We made some cerrections in it too. Maybe the problem is here.
