Hi,
Robotask shows a task to have run successfully even when
it doesn't.
Example: I have set up robotask to start and stop a
respective program every workday morning and evening
respectively.
Now, even when the task hasnt even got initiated,
Robotask shows the task to have run successfully. i ahve
checked the scheduler, and the setup is correct.
It also gets fixed on certain actions on particular days,
however running the same task fine the other day.
Please help.
Thanks

What do you see in the task log?

System log shows that trigger have tried to start the task. But this do not garantee that the task will work as you wish.

This leads to the issue that why does the task doesn't run
even on programming the scheduler for a specific time?
Does Robotask have any sleep mode programming by any
chance?

Do you want to say that the task wasn't started by scheduler at specified time?
Are you sure that computer worked at specified time? If it was in "sleep" or "hibernate" mode, the task can't be started anyway.

Hi there,
Yes the task did not start at the specified time. Also,
certain tasks go through fine when initiated manually, but
get stuck when the scheduler initiates them.
Its an erratic behavior with some tasks.
The system never shuts down unless power cycled manually.
Also, has been set to never hibernate.
I am still checking in-case there are any services or
applications which might be interfering but haven't found
anything yet.
Thanks

I tried running Robotask as the sole application running
on the system, and it still gave me the same logs.......
"task run successfully" even when it did not!
Any suggestions.. updates.. input?

Thanks
