It would be nice to send a sms to my cell phone when a certain
task has an error. Is there a way to send sms from robotask? If there is not a
way to directly send one from robotask can someone recommend a program that
would work with robotask easily?

I send SMS via email. It is possible if your communication operator provide this service. But format of email address and message body depends on your operator. This information should be on operator's web site.
