I copied the program onto another computer, but the task folder setting property in the program had changed to what looks like the default, how do I keep them the same when copied.

Also my defined variables were lost.

By default task folder is "C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Local Settings\Application Data\RoboTask". Also you can see it at Robotask settings (menu Options | Settings)

All user-defined variables are stored in registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Neowise\RoboTask\User variables. You may import this branch from old computer
