Critical ERROR with CD-DVDWriter variable
Posted: Sun May 02, 2004 8:31 pm
When trying to use any of the CD-DVDWriter system variables the system consumes 100% CPU and RoboTask locks up.
This occurs when there is no CD or DVD in the drive.
As an example I tried to create a simple "Show Message/Play Sound" action and use the variable to display the {CDDRIVECOUNT} but when I click Test or run the task RoboTask freezes and has to be shut down through the Task Manager.
I was wanting to check that the {CDMEDIATYPE(D)} of the disc in drive D was not equal to Unknown therefore indicating there was no CD in the drive so that I didn't try to write to a CD when no CD existed but found this error mentioned above when trying to use any of the system variables for CD-DVDWriter when no disc was in the drive.
