RoboTask and Google Forms

I am trying to use Robotask to fill in a Google Forms form, and often the first one or two entries aren't filled in - I get the error that the form element (or elements) can't be found. But I know the element is correct, and sometimes it IS found and the values go through tp the spreadsheet.
Does there need to be some lag time before Robotask starts filling in the form? Is that why the first one or two elements are often (but not always!) not found? If so, how do I accomplish that?
The eventual goal is to get input item variables fed into a Google Sheets spreadsheet. Maybe there's a better way to go about this than using a Google Forms to get there! If so, pont me in the right direction!
