RoboTask service no long in system tray

A couple of days ago, I noticed that the RoboTask icon no longer appears in the system tray (RoboTask 2.4, WinXP Pro SP2).
I can see the service running, but the icon doesn't appear.
I uninstalled and reinstalled RoboTask, and again configured it as a service. When I rebooted, the icon appeared as it should.
The next time I rebooted, no icon. Again, I could see the service running. Stopping and restarting the service results in the icon appearing normally, but a reboot results in no icon.
Any thoughts?

That is a long time bug that has yet to be fixed.

Thanks for that. At least it's not just me.

Try to log out of session, wait 5-10 seconds, and logon again. The icon must appear.

Do you mean I should log out of Windows XP? If so, it is much faster to just stop and restart the service.

Head up, if you stop and restart the service you might find some of you tasks fire (i.e. file watchign services) when they should not.
Example is I haev a file watchign servcie which sends and email.  When I restart the service it shoots an email regardless...

Thanks for the warning. I don't think I've seen this happen, but it's good to know that it's possible.

HelloI have Robotask v2.5 and I encounter the same problem : no icon in the systray after my PC is started. I have Windows XP SP2 Home Edition.I've installed the service and it's configured as "automatic".To see the icon, I must launch the service manually. Can you look at this problem or tell me what's wrong ?Sincerely.

Do you use "autologon" method in order to log on into your session? This trouble sometimes appear when logon operation was very quick (or at autologon).
