Best practices for handling file paths and variables in large automation tasks?

Hi everyone,
I've been using RoboTask for a while now to automate various daily administrative workflows, such as processing incoming reports, moving files across network drives, and updating Excel logs.
As my task structures grow larger and more complex, I'm running into some challenges with managing global variables and dynamic file paths cleanly. Sometimes, a path change or a slight modification in a sub-task breaks the entire workflow.
I wanted to start a discussion to see how other experienced users handle this:
Do you use a specific naming convention for your local and global variables?
How do you structure your error-handling routines across multiple dependent tasks?
Are there any recommended practices for keeping large tasks maintainable and easy to debug?
I'd love to hear your thoughts or see examples of how you organize your more advanced automation projects.
Thanks in advance for sharing your insights!
Best regards,
