I am writing a task to monitor files over 14 days old and delete them. I see several ways to do this, but I was wondering what the simplest way would be?
I have the trigger set up, should I use the "search for files " with a date filter?

It depends of your wish.
"Search for files" and "File loop" actions have the same date filter. Thus you can select files which you want.

For example, I use File Loop action in order to delete old files in temporary folder. This is more comfortable for me.
