Strange FTP Sync issue

Post by tdawebdesign »

Hi All,

I have this very strange issue where i try to do a ftp sync of a basic
folder with 2 files in it.  It takes about an 1 hour to process the
task but nevery sycs and returns this error over and over aftwards
(about 25 times).  See below

E: 1/30/2008 1:27:22 PM: FtpCreateDirectory fails with message: The connection with the server was reset<CR><LF>
E: 1/30/2008 1:27:22 PM: FtpGetCurrentDirectory fails with message: The connection with the server was reset<CR><LF>

The FTP login works fine and i can upload and download files via a task
but it just wont sync.  What going wrong as i have the same setup on
another server and it works like a charm.

YOur help is greatly appreciated.

im using the latest version but on trial at the moment for this server,   i have no idea why it doesnt work.  It doesnt give me an error straight away it hangs for an hour and then quits the task and states
E: 1/30/2008 1:27:22 PM: FtpCreateDirectory fails with message: The connection with the server was reset<CR><LF>It just wont ftp sync, all other ftp functions work fine.....  Its bizare because i have the same setup on another server and works fine and i installed robotask on anther machine and it synced fine to the desination, so its definately not an FTP issue.Tim
