Licensing Issue Vista x86, Robotask v2.6

Post by Agda Drift »

We´re trying to move Robotask v2.6 from an XP host to a Vista host. Installation and all functions seams ok, but we are unable to license the new host. We paste the license key as issued (we use the same key on both hosts, the xp host will be shutdown after upgrade), and Robotask ask us to restart the program. After restart we see the eval version - day x of 30 . Click here to order .... sign.  Any suggestions?

You must run RoboTask "As Administrator" if you want to enter registration code under Windows Vista.
Do the following:
- Stop RoboTask
- Right click on RoboTask icon
- Choose "Run as Administrator" item

Otherwise Vista use virtualization mechanism and write the registration key into virtual key of system registry.
