I need to automate a routine task that i do on a daily basis, it would be brilliant if i could get my computer to do the whole task.

What it would need to do is log into a website, go to an area of that website, click on a few things, then download a file, then open this file in excel, save it, open it in word and print.

I also want my computer to turn on at the same time each day, and the software to open automatically and perform these tasks, and then finally the computer shuts down. do you think that would be possible?

I think that this is possible. RoboTask have necessary actions for this.
You can automate you website by using Mouse actions (Move to Object, Move, Click )and Sending of Keystrokes.
In order to open document use the action Run Program/Open document.
You can print document with action Print Document.
