Hello All,
I am trying to set up an email to alert me (this part working) if a new file is created in a network drive. I have a specific file name I am looking for. I believe I have done it correctly, but when I drop the file I am trying to look for (firmwide.inf) into the folder I do not get the email sent to me? Must be missing something. If I hit PLAY on the Task I do receive the email - so that action must be working.

Re: Email Alert Based on a New File Creation
I think that you have to change parameters
Look at my settings If you turned on Monitor folders the trigger will monitor only folders (not files)
Also you have to turn on the Watch for changed files option too
The name of the file is identifier of the file. So if you copy new file into folder with same name the system think that you change the file only
Also one question:
How do you use RoboTask: as simple application or as system service?

Oleg,
This was fantastic! I am all set and it is working great!
We are using this as a simple application.
