Loop through folders

I have 5 folders

Folder1, foledr 2
Folder 3, Folder 4 & Folder 5

What I want to do is check that at least 1 file exists in each of these folders and if so run a script.

Oce the script is run then send an email and delete all files from the 5 folders.

I had thought of using count number of files and if the value was 5 or more then goto the next part of the script

However that doesnt work as folder 2 could have 2 files, or folder 3 could have 17

I'm looking for an
ANd f1count>1 and f2count >1 and f3 cont >1 and f4count >1 sort of thing.

Any ideas - apart from a 5 level if then...
