Run as NT Service question

Post by alvingo »

Hi,
New user of RoboTask, I'm just wondering if you can help me on this one.
When I install & run the service of Robotask, I can only see a DOS windows screen saying RoboTask service is enabled.
Is this enough or I should be seeing some icons on the tray?
Also, in the previous post he said that the Robotask-service has a different task folder compared to Robotask-dekstop. Can someone provide me exact path for both?
Thanx

When RoboTask service is starting you can see green RoboTask icon in system tray (except terminal sessions). RoboTask application has blue icon.

You may see (and change) task folder in RoboTask options (menu Options | Settings). By default pathes are:
For NT Service
C:\Program Files\RoboTask\Tasks\

For applicatin mode
C:\Documents and Settings\<User_Name>\Local Settings\Application Data\RoboTask\Tasks\
