How can i insert a dot in a "send keys to active window" command?

Just put dot symbol into "Keys" field.
I've just tried it's working...

i'm italian and i'm using an european keyboard, so i put dot and comes out a comma ","

after some tests i noticed that the problem occurs only if i type the period "." in an excel cell
